Making movie style credits

I need help! I have adobe Premiere 5.1 and want to make movie style credits. By saying movie style I mean the credits the characters name is on the right and the actors name is on the left and its all centered. If you seen the credits at the end of the movie you know what I mean. Is the a special program that you can buy that lines it up perfectly? I try to do it manually but it never lines up perfect. Maybe you've tried this, but it works for me. Open a new Title, click on the "rolling title tool". Hold down the mouse in the top-left corner, and drag to the bottom-right. Click twice inside the "new box" and type the names. You should be able to line them up in the middle, just like "real credits". Use a big bold font (Ariel?). Will the credits roll on a black background, or over footage. That footage will determine if you need black type on a white background, or vice versa. They're tricky, no doubt. Here's one thing I didn't mention, which is probably the one thing you're looking for.

When you double-click inside that "rolling title" area (so you can type in there), a couple buttons appear on the left side of the Title window, under the tools and under "draft".

These are "kerning" tools, whatever the hell "kerning" means. I guess it means moving the text in small increments, because that's what it does.

Click anywhere in the text, then click those "arrows" in one direction or another, and you'll be able to line up the text.
